The Talking Red campaign was launched by The Haemophilia Society to make women more aware of the symptoms of a bleeding disorder - heavy periods, bruising easily, nosebleeds and prolonged bleeding after a procedure or childbirth - and to promote better understanding of what it means to live with such a condition.
More than 25,000 people in the UK have been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder, and the number grows every year, yet thousands of women across the UK are living with a bleeding disorder and don't know it.
Bleeding disorders can’t be cured but there is effective treatment available, so our message is get Talking Red to help the thousands of women who are suffering in silence.
Join in the fun by holding your own Talking Red event and help fundraise for the only UK-wide charity supporting everyone with a bleeding disorder.
