It may be cold outside but that it no reason to stay indoors this winter!

Research shows that spending time outdoors and doing physical activity are vital to wellbeing which is why we manage our reserves for people and wildlife. Children’s relationship with nature is poor and getting worse rapidly. According to research by the National Trust the next generation is so unfamiliar with some of our commonest wild creatures that one in three cannot identify a magpie yet nine out of ten can recognise a dalek!

It is vital that we continue to provide places and activities to help children and adults engage with nature however this comes with considerable costs – could you support us to help ensure there are havens for wildlife which people can also enjoy?

We manage 65 nature reserves across Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire; visit our website to plan your visit today!
