The Royal British Legion
The Bravo 22 Company
London
22 January 2012
The Royal British Legion and the Theatre Royal Haymarket Masterclass Trust are delighted to be working together to provide an exciting recovery project, which brings together leading professionals in the theatre industry with thirty wounded, injured and sick service personnel from around the UK. This unique project is called The Bravo 22 Company. The Bravo 22 Company will be working with Owen Sheers, who is writing a play based on their stories and experiences, which Stephen Rayne will direct. The Project is overseen by Sir Trevor Nunn, the Artistic Director of the Theatre Royal Haymarket, together with the MOD. It is supported by a team of theatre professionals, including the Project's Ambassador, Ray Winstone. The Bravo 22 Company will rehearse, produce and perform two performances only of their play at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 22nd January 2012. This project is designed to give these wounded, injured and sick service personnel work experience, a public voice, a bonding opportunity, confidence, new skills and insight into the theatrical industry. Donations will go directly to The Bravo 22 Company project. We would greatly appreciate your support.
