Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity is often described as one of Hampshires best kept secrets. With a 25 bed in patient unit, a day care centre, education facility and teams of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, chaplains, specialist palliative care teams and over 180 volunteers to name just a few, its easy to see why.

Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity helps to provide both emotional and physical support to patients and their families throughout illness and bereavement by funding a number of different aspects of the services offered at the hospice.

The funding provided by the charity helps to provide additional staff posts, purchase new and improved equipment, provide volunteer transport to enable patients and relatives to get in to and home from the hospice, additional refreshments and much, much more.

All of the funding provided by the charity is over and above that given by the NHS. Therefore, every penny we provide is enhancing the care available.
