There are 35,000 deaf children in the UK and three more are born deaf every day.
Many deaf children struggle to communicate with their immediate family, and develop language at a slower rate than their hearing peers. This can lead to them feeling isolated and excluded.
NDCS is dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people by providing emotional and practical support to them and their families through services like our Freephone Helpline and our network of trained support workers.
