Malaria No More UK is an entrepreneurial, not-for-profit organisation, committed to ending unnecessary death caused by malaria. Working with governments, corporations and the public, Malaria No More UK combines a powerful blend of funding, advocacy, popular campaigning and on-the-ground implementation to achieve its goals. Malaria No More UK aims to: Every penny donated by the public to Malaria No More UK is used on the ground in Africa to support malaria prevention and control programmes. Malaria is a solvable crisis but yet nearly one million people in Africa die of malaria every year, and most are young children under five years old. The tools exist to tackle this crisis head on; mosquito nets, medicine and spraying protect and save lives. Malaria No More recognises that ending malarias grip on Africa is the best humanitarian investment in the world today. Nothing else can have the same impact on as many peoples lives and livelihoods as quickly or as cheaply. It has never been easier to prevent malaria - £5 will buy and deliver a bed net to cover a mother and baby, or two children, for up to five years. The launch of Malaria No More UK saw the charity secure the support of all the major political parties as well as announcing founding Leadership Council Members; David Beckham and Andy Murray.
