About Cecilys Fund
Cecily’s Fund helps Zambian children, who have been orphaned or made vulnerable as a result of HIV and AIDS, to get an education. Education is one of the most effective weapons in the battle against HIV, giving children vital information, support from teachers and friends and skills to help them earn a living after school. We enable nearly 10,000 children to go to school each year by providing uniforms, shoes, books and pens and by paying for exam fees. Once the children graduate from school, we help some to go on to train as teachers or peer health educators so they can pass on information and education to thousands more youngsters.
