Hope Against Cancer raises money to fund Cancer Research Projects in the Hospitals and Universities of Leicester and Leicestershire.
In the space of 10 years thanks to the enormous generosity of the local community and a dedicated team of volunteers, Hope has raised in excess of £3m, which has funded 29 research projects.
Hope has worked tirelessly to raise the standard of research to enable the Universities and Hospitals of Leicester to be able to offer the very latest advice on patient care and treatments into many different Cancers including bladder, ovarian, prostrate, melanoma, liver, bowel, leukaemia, colorectal and breast cancer.
In May 2012 the Hope Against Cancer Clinical Trials Unit was opened at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. By supporting cancer research today we aim to develop effective treatments for the future.
Where there's Hope, there's Life
