Hope Against Cancer (The Hope Foundation) raises money to fund Cancer Research Projects in the Hospitals and Universities of Leicester and Leicestershire. Since 2003 the people of Leicestershire and Rutland have raised in excess of £1.7m, which has funded 22 Research Fellowships in many areas of Cancer. In 2009 Youthful Hope was launched,aimed at introducing teenagers to research programs and highlighting key lifestyle factors that have strong cancer implications. By supporting cancer research today we aim to develop effective treatments for the future.
