We are the Wildlife Trust for Sheffield and Rotherham. We are the biggest voluntary sector nature conservation and environmental regeneration organisation in South Yorkshire, passionate about our environment and we need your help to build a better future for both people and wildlife. We work with local people to protect and enhance the environment, to increase the public’s understanding of the natural world, and to provide opportunities for people to enjoy the outdoors and enjoy key benefits to individual health and wellbeing. We look after eleven beautiful sites, from large moorland areas of international importance to small city centre nature parks; provide a programme of environmental training, food and healthy living development, education and youth work; have a practical sites team for wildlife friendly conservation work and land management; run events; and under our trading arm, Wildscapes, undertake landscape design, commercial graphic design, and so much more We have over 4000 members and work in partnership with many organisations, campaigning to ensure wildlife and the environment are given the consideration they deserve and to develop a living landscape, where our wildlife can adapt to the effects of climate change.
