Article 25 is the UK’s leading architectural aid charity. We design, manage and deliver sustainable building solutions in areas affected by disaster, poverty and need.
We design and construct buildings to provide essential services for some of the world's most vulnerable communities.
We have worked on over 60 projects with partner NGOs in 22 countries. Our projects include:
- A training and rehabilitation centre for ex-child soldiers in Uganda.
- Water and sanitation facilities in Haiti for communities affected by the devastating 2010 earthquake.
- A low-cost school in Burkina Faso, which can be replicated by local communities.
- An educational centre for street children in Accra, Ghana.
As well as providing design and construction expertise, we collaborate with communities and governments to create sustainable construction projects, which equip them with the skills they need to maintain and improve their built envrionment in the long-term. Our vision is of a world where buildings provide sustainable solutions to poverty, disaster and need and the human right to adequate shelter is met.
