Magic Breakfast is a UK registered charity (1102510) dedicated to ensuring no child arrives at school too hungry to learn. We believe no childs education should suffer due to the lack of fuel for learning.

A third of UK school children regularly miss breakfast and 1 in 4 only have one hot meal a day - school lunch. A hungry child is often unable to concentrate in class, prone to disruptive behaviour and in many cases in pain. A hungry child simply cannot make the most of their education.

"You focus more on your belly hurting than you do on your learning if you havent had breakfast".

Magic Breakfast works with primary schools in the most deprived areas of the UK, providing free breakfast foods and developing long term sustainable solutions to the eradication of child hunger in the morning.

There are many reasons why a child may not receive a healthy start to the day. Chaotic homelife, income poverty, overcrowded accommodation, long term unemployment or lack of nutritional awareness are just some of the many factors contributing to a national problem.

We dont believe it is acceptable to let a child miss out on future success because of these factors. Thats why Magic Breakfast works to reach into the heart of communities to close the attainment gap and give every child the right start to each day, every day.
