YCT is a charity that is passionate about providing therapeutic support aimed at enhancing the emotional health and well-being of children and young people. We offer a range of services including one-to-one counselling, issue focused groups and projects, drama and art therapy, sessions in the natural environment and more. We also help  professionals and organisations to work the best and most effectively they can with with troubled children and young people, offering trainnig, supervision, counselling and consultancy.

The difference we make to those who access our support is significant. We see happier and healthier children and young people who have better relationships and more self-worth. They have improved behaviour, performance and engagement at school/college, less anger, self-harm and disorders significantly decrease and they are in a much better place to realise their potential. This not only helps the individual, but their families, communities and society at large.

At YCT we are always looking at new ways to enable them to access the support they deserve, and what works for different individuals. You can help us by the support you give us through Virgin Money Giving to reach more children, young people, and those who help them - as helping to resolve issues today will make for a happier, resilient and positive person tomorrow.

YCT House is in the West Essex town of Harlow, however we currently deliver services across Essex, Herts and North London with a view to grow our area. Within schools we work with those 5 years old and upwards, and in the community or in partnership with other youth services, we provide accessible support to all aged 11 to 25 years. We work to support those who present with very wide ranging issues and firmly believe with early intervention, we can stop these issues progressing to more severe outcomes and/or mental health concerns.

We thank you for your support, it is incredibly appreciated.
