Energy price rises have put a fifth of all UK households into Fuel Poverty,* many of whom are elderly, vulnerable and in poor health.

Wood U Waste Ltd. (registered charity no: 1140367 & registered company no: 06911553)  is a Gloucestershire-based charity dedicated to the alleviation of Fuel Poverty. It has set up a Winter Fuel Payment Appeal and aims to raise at least £10,000.

*A household is in Fuel Poverty if it has to spend more than 10% of it’s income on fuel.

Wood U Waste currently supports the following organisations who are working to help those in fuel poverty:

• Uplands Care Service
• The Acorn Day Care Centre
• Care & Repair Stroud
• Wood U Waste

Each organisation has its own particular area of expertise, so  working together means our Appeal can be more effective.

All donations made to the charity Wood U Waste will divided evenly between the above organisations and we will ensure that every penny gets spent on helping those in need to stay warm this winter.
