PLEASE HELP US BUY A MOTORBIKE AMBULANCE!
In rural Mozambique, seeking medical attention often means hours of walking and queuing to find, in most cases, that the medicine has already run out. Able to tackle rough terrain, a motorbike ambulance will speed up the process of treating patients by increasing the level of medical care in the most remote places.
The cost to buy a motorbike ambulance from South Africa, run and maintain it for two years is about £12,000 – please help us reach this sum so we can provide aid to those so desperately in need.
To donate, simply select 'make a donation' on the right hand menu, enter the amount you would like to contribute, and make sure you reference the Motorbike Ambulance Campaign in the messages box. Simple!
We have a range of other ongoing projects you can support - if you would like to donate specifically to one of these, please make the donation here and email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know which project you would like to support.
- £100 for a year’s secondary school scholarship
- £50 to feed a child for a year at school
- £15 a school desk
- £5 a malaria workshop and mosquito net for a mother
- £1 a nutrition workshop for a family
Nema was established in 2006 alongside multi-award winning Guludo Beach Lodge to act as an independent charity to implement local projects. All administration costs are covered by Guludo and JoJo Maman Bébé, therefore 100% of ALL donations go straight to our grass root projects.
Nema Foundation is a UK registered charity (no. 1113131) operating in Northern Mozambique where it is registered as an NGO.
