Venture Trust transforms the lives of people who, because of their complicated or chaotic backgrounds, are experiencing disadvantage, vulnerability or marginalisation.

In 2011, we worked with over 850 participants - people who were struggling with complicated life circumstances such as being looked after by the state, offending, homelessness, drug and alcohol misuse, caring responsibilities and other complications in their lives.

We run intensive personal development programmes. What this means is we give people time, space and intensive support in wilderness environments. Here, we help people recognise what they need to change, then give them the confidence, motivation and tools they need to make those changes.

By tackling a range of physical, emotional and social challenges, participants are able to increase their aspirations, and to develop a range of skills for life, learning and work.
