End violent conflict.

It's our purpose -- our call to action.

Where: 30 countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, as well as the United States.
How: We work with all sides of a conflict to help them find shared interests and goals through:
Traditional Peacebuilding (peace talks, dialogue, training leaders, law enforcement reform)
Popular Media (TV & radio shows,
Instead of tearing down an existing world, we focus on constructing a new one.  We do this through a type of peacebuilding called “conflict transformation.” Meaning: we look to change the everyday interaction between hostile groups of people, so they can work together to build up their community. Our response to conflict doesn’t have to be violence. In fact, though it’s not easy, conflict is an opportunity to make the situation better for everyone involved.
In order to work with all sides of a conflict, we have to remain impartial. We do not take a political, religious, or “good guys vs. bad guys” stance on a situation.
83% of our team members are from the countries they work in. They are constantly creating innovative ways to help their neighbors transform the way they deal with conflict, away from violence toward joint problem-solving.
Learn more about our core principles.Destination: End violent conflict

Conflict and differences are inevitable. Violence is not. We partner with people around the world to ignite shared solutions to destructive conflicts. We work at all levels of society to build sustainable peace through three main avenues:

  1. Dialogue+ Whether at the local or national level, we bring people together across dividing lines to discover and achieve shared goals. We work with those traditionally in power and those without a platform, often women and youth. (Ex: peace talks, dialogue, training leaders, law enforcement reform, and more)
  2. Media+ While a dialogue affects dozens, media impacts millions. We use media to stir up thoughts and discussions across a whole society about the root causes of violence and how to overcome differences.
(Ex: TV & radio shows, films, training journalists, music videos, comic books, you name it)
  3. Community+ We provide a safe space for people to work out their conflicts at the local level. With some creative thinking, we bring divided communities, neighbors, and families together to discover their common humanity. (Ex: community problem-solving, football matches, shared development projects, etc.)

Who we are: We're a non-profit peace-building organization in 35 countries around the world.

89% of our team members are working in their home countries. They are constantly creating innovative ways to help their neighbors transform the way they deal with conflict, away from violence toward joint problem-solving.
