Eric Liddell Centre
Homepage
The Eric Liddell Centre is named in memory of the Olympic gold medallist of the Oscar award-wining film “Chariots of Fire” fame. Eric’s beliefs in community service led local residents to set up the charity and centre in Edinburgh dedicated to inspiring, empowering, and supporting local people of all ages, cultures and abilities, as an expression of compassionate values.
As an innovative local charity, it provides a day care service for people with a diagnosis of dementia, the Ca(I)re Programme: a programme of free courses for carers, office accommodation for smaller charities and rooms for other groups providing activities for the community.
