Sophia Forum is a network of women and organisations around the UK, part of the UNAIDS-coordinated Global Coalition on Women and AIDS.
At present we are particularly focusing on the gender-based violence experienced by women living with HIV in the UK.
In February 2013 we launched a report about the linkages between Gender-Based Violence and HIV for women in the UK. You can read more about the launch and related articles here.
On 8 March 2014 - International Women's Day - we launched our new "WISE-UP+" training programme for young and/or newly diagnosed women living with HIV who would like to learn about advocacy work. This work is kindly sponsored by the Big Lottery Awards 4 All.
