PLEASE HELP THE CARTOON MUSEUM !! Your support will go a long way...
The CARTOON MUSEUM, based in Bloomsbury, London, is a wonderful small museum - a museum of laughter - where you can see the very best of British cartoon art. We have received over 100,000 visitors since we opened in 2006. The museum hosts FAMILY FUN DAYS, CHILDRENS CARTOONING and ANIMATION classes, and in 2009 organised outreach and in-house sessions to over 50 schools as well as introducing over 1000 kids to Britains cartooning heritage.
We stage important exhibitions of the very best of British cartoonists - H M Bateman, Pont, W Heath Robinson and many more.
Our current exhibition is Fougasse: Careless Talk Costs Lives, an exhibition of classic wartime poster designs and Punch cartoons by Fougasse (Kenneth Bird) and runs until Sunday 21st November.
The Cartoon Art Trust is the registered charity behind The Cartoon Museum, and receives NO STATE OR PUBLIC FUNDING . Trustees have to raise £150,000 each year to support our activities, so please help to support us.
