If U Care Share Foundation was founded in memory of Daniel OHare who in 2005, at the age of 19, took his own life without any warning.

His family created this organisation as a lasting tribute to Daniel but also in the hope that they can prevent at least one family from suffering a similar experience to theirs.

The campaign was originally set up by Matthew, Ben & Sarah (Daniel’s brothers & Cousin), to encourage young people to “Share” any problems that troubled them in the hope of preventing one family enduring a similar experience.

Today the IUCSF is ran by Daniels parents, Dean & Shirley Smith with 3 main objectives:

• Prevention of suicide and promoting positive emotional well-being
• Intervention of suicide
• Support of families affected by suicide
