The Nancy Blackett Trust preserves, maintains and sails Arthur Ransome s yacht the Nancy Blackett, used by him as the original of the Goblin in We Didnt Mean to Go to Sea.

Our aim is to inspire interest in Ransome s books, including the Swallows and Amazons series, among all ages, and to help young people to discover and enjoy sailing, both aboard Nancy and through other opportunities.
