The local charity which gives advice and practical help to the elderly residents of Bracknell Forest. We are NOT Age UK and it has been proposed that we should end our association with the national charity .

We are the Mayor's Charity for Bracknell Forest Borough Council.

Our core activity is to operate a Day Centre which provides 20 places per day, 5 days per week for elderly members who need some care to help them with everyday living and can positively benefit from the social contact and organised group activities.

We operate a toenail cutting clinic for over 65s which provides relief to some 275 people including non-members of the Day Centre.

Our other activities include transport to hospital; escorted coach outings; and a "care day" where elderly residents are entertained to a hotel meal and educated about issues such as home security.
