Disease and injury continue to be the biggest threats to animals. The Animal Health Trust exists to combat these.

We aim to improve the health and welfare of horses, dogs and cats through research, clinical services and education.

Through research we develop new and better ways to diagnose a problem, stop it from happening and, where we can, cure it.

Our clinical services offer specialist referral facilities to vets when cases are too complex to be managed in general practice. We have two clinics – one for dogs and cats, the other for horses, dealing with noses to tails and everything in between.

Education is a vital part of our work. We share our knowledge with vets internationally to benefit horses, dogs and cats all around the world. Our clinics are staffed by world-leading experts and young vets training to be our world-leading experts of the future.
