Brain Research Trust
Homepage
Brain Research Trust is one of the UK’s leading charities in the field of neurological research. We were established in 1971 to promote and support research into the causes, treatments, preventions and cures of neurological diseases. We do this by funding basic and clinical research at UCL’s world-renowned Institute of Neurology, Queen Square, London.
Since Brain Research Trust was founded, we have given over £30 million to the Institute to help finance their research programmes and PhD studentships. Brain Research Trusts support helps further research into conditions of the brain and nervous system including Alzheimers and other dementias, Brain Tumours, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Parkinsons Disease, Epilepsy and Motor Neurone Disease.
