CARD is a UK registered charity providing humanitarian aid in Azerbaijan. The vision and ethos of our work is to see the insignificant become significant working with the most vulnerable sectors of Azerbaijani society through education, vocational training and development projects in Ganja Azerbaijan. We have three programmes of work: 1. Vocational Training - providing free classes in English, Computers, Carpentry and Carpet Weaving for disadvantaged teenagers & children from Ganja Childrens Home; 2. Mental Health - providing: - therapy classes to patients in psychiatric care; - basic clothing and hygiene needs; - rennovation work to the hospital wards and grounds to improve patient welfare. 3. Childrens Welfare - providing nappies, clothing, medical aids, toys, educational play sessions in Ganja Babies Home; and providing computer training, craft and other activities at Ganja Childrens Home.
