City of Bradford YMCA has been operating for 150 years, supporting the children, young people and communities of Bradford. Our mission is: Part of a worldwide inclusive Christian Movement; Working with people of other religious faiths and those of none; To transform communities so that all young people truly belong, contribute and thrive. To meet our mission to meet the needs of young people and communities, we operate a varied range of programmes in partnership with many agencies and classified under five main areas:
Education and Skills - alternative education, long-term training and short courses as well as support for young people not in education, employment or training opportunities.
Environmental - BEES is the environmental department of City of Bradford YMCA. We offer a broad range of environmental education opportunities to young people, individuals, community groups, schools and businesses.
8-13's Zone - referral provision for 8-13 years including early intervention work and posiotive activites.
Culture Fusion - Bradford YMCA is the lead partner for Culture Fusion and we relocated all of our existing range of sevices into this centre. city of Bradford YMCA is responsible for the running of the centre working in a respectful and cooperative partnership with the key co-located services which include, Connexions, NHS services, Bradford Council, Volunterring Matters and Home Farm Trust.
