City Year brings together young people aged 18 to 25 of all backgrounds for a year of full-time volunteering, giving them the skills and opportunities to spend a year serving the local community . Working in schools as tutors, mentors and role models, these young leaders help to inspire children to focus on their studies and provide extra support and assistance at school. The volunteers will also be trained in leadership, team work, project management and communications skills.
