The Clervaux Trust is a pioneering project reconnecting people to the land. The Trust offers a diverse range of activities available to the local community in and around Darlington and the North East of England. Reconnecting people to the land is achieved by engaging people in land based activities at a 100 acre farm in Croft on Tees. Activities include woodworking, blacksmithing, pottery, felting and weaving, horticulture, construction and much more. These activities are linked directly to the urban site in Darlington where the Trust operates a social enterprise combining commerce and education. Here the Trust operates a bakery, cafe and retail unit selling locally grown and processed food and drink and crafts to the local community. Clervaux Trust is about to launch a Veterans Artisan Bakery and Cafe at Catterick Garrison to provide vocational training to ex-serving Veterans.
