The Devon Air Ambulance Trust is the charity which raises the funds to keep Devon's two Air Ambulances airborne. Costing in the region of £4 million a year, and independent of Government and National Lottery funding, every single penny comes from the community, businesses and friends of Devon. Flying an average 1,700 missions a year, the service is an essential part of the community. Because Devon is a remote and rural county, essential medical treatment needs to be administered as quickly as possible. The service isn't only deployed to trauma or accidents, but also to medical emergencies. It's therefore reassuring to know that should you or a loved one be ill or injured one of Devon's Air Ambulances can reach 50% of Devon within 5 minutes and the remainder within 20 minutes. Every single penny counts and we are grateful to everyone who supports the charity.
