Epilepsy Action
Homepage
Epilepsy Action exists to improve the lives of everyone affected by epilepsy. As well as campaigning to improve epilepsy services we offer assistance in a number of different ways. These include a national network of branches, epilepsy awareness volunteers and freephone and email helplines.
The difference your fundraising will make:
£6 means one of our epilepsy experts can provide one to one advice and information to someone who needs it.
£50 could give 250 people a wallet-sized guide to first aid for seizures - helping people with epilepsy be safe in public.
£100 could fund an awareness session at a school, work place or community centre by one of our specially trained volunteers.
£300 could fund, print and distribute 1,000 copies of The Pregnancy Diaries - a magazine that provides advice and support to pregnant women and their partners.
£500 could help fund a new research project - making discoveries that improve the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy.
£750 could fund one week of specialist support from a newly appointed Sapphire Nurse.
£1,500 could pay for our annual awards scheme for schools, recognising good practise in supporting pupils in education.
