Francis House Children's Hospice provides respite and end of life care to children and young people with life limiting conditions and support for their families and carers.

For children and young people whose lives are to be short it is important that we help them to have the best care and support that is possible. Francis House provides a 'Home from Home' setting in pleasant grounds were families can relax and take a break.  The children sleep in rainbow themed bedrooms and there are flats for their parents to have a well earned rest and time together. There are lots of activity areas for the children to enjoy including a jacuzzi, a multi-sensory room, a soft play area, a music suite and a creative therapy room. 

Francis Lodge provides an additional four bedroomed lodge for our teenagers and young people in a more age appropriate setting.

We currently care for 229 sick chidren and their families. The annual running costs for Francis House are £3.3 million and the majority of these funds are received from voluntary donations.Your help has made Francis House and Francis Lodge possible and for that we say a huge 'Thank You.'
