The Hammersmith & Fulham Volunteer Centre is one of the largest Volunteer Centre's helping local socially isolated, disadvantaged and vulnerable people. We believe volunteering is a gateway to opportunities: employment, training, enterprise and education.
As a charity, we encourage you to donate to help us to continue the work we do support local people. For example, just £5 will help us support a local person with a disability.
Help us to deliver essential and innovate projects such as:
CREATIVE MINDS
The Creative Minds Youth Project is an exciting new project run in partnership by the H&F Volunteer Centre and H&F Mind which encourages young people aged 16-25 to be inspired to achieve their goals. It aims to get young people involved in their community and take part in exciting activities; it promotes and raises awareness of mental health problems within the wider community to reduce stigma and discrimination.
EVENTS 4 YOUTH
Events 4 Youth is a YOUTH-LED volunteering project that engages, trains and supports young people to identify, plan and run community events for other youth in H&F and Hounslow. The project will become a way of reaching out to young people and promoting messages to them, whilst creating a safe & secure environment for youth to manage events, run by and for youth.
ALL IN MOTION
All In Motion (AIM) is a youth disability project run in partnership with HAFAD (Hammersmith and Fulham Action on Disability).  It is a three year project open to young people (16-25) living or studying in Hammersmith and Fulham. The main aims of the project are to get more young disabled people into voluntary work and to support local organisations to lower the barriers for disabled volunteers. Young people can develop new skills, get new knowledge and train for qualifications such as the ASDAN Community Volunteering Qualifications and the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
