We promote the study and recording of wildlife in Hertfordshire and encourage a wider interest in natural history including the conservation of wildlife, habitats and geological features. The Society was established in 1875 and our members have been monitoring how the wildlife and countryside of Hertfordshire has changed over the last 130 years and is still changing and developing now. All the Societys work is done entirely by volunteers.
