LArche is an international movement that builds Communities with people with learning disabilites. We stand for a world where all belong, where everyone can exercise their gifts.

In the UK we provide person centred, individual support and care to adults with learning disabilities.  

LArche Communities provide a framework of relationships and activities which support the whole person, including their emotional and spiritual needs.  Above and beyond the service funded by Local Governments and Health Authorities we aim to ensure people feel valued, happy and able to grow to their full potential.

In a society that puts such a high value on success, LArche Communities are places where people with and without disabilities can take time to explore who they are, not just what they do.

Mutual relationships are at the heart of our Communities. We recognise and celebrate the unique value of every person and our need for one another. In the joys and struggles of our daily life together, we strive to be a sign of hope and justice.
