The Marine Conservation Society (MCS) is the UK charity dedicated to protecting our seas, shores and wildlife. MCS campaigns for clean seas and beaches, sustainable fisheries, and protection for all marine life.

We gain so much from the sea - food, energy, well-being, fun - yet it seems it is not getting much from us in return. The time has come for all of us to do what we can to turn the tide. 

MCS is working to:

Establish vital marine protected areas where wildlife can recover and flourish.

Clear our coasts and seas of the litter that kills seabirds, dolphins, turtles and other wildlife.

Reduce the overfishing that devastates the life in our seas and make sure that our seafood is sustainable.
