Cambridge Samaritans are one of the oldest Samaritan branches in the country and this year we celebrate 50 years of providing a service around Cambridge and the wider community. We work to assist people who are suicidal, despairing or in distress primarily for the benefit of people in Cambridge and surrounding areas. We try to give immediate help, compassion and befriending which is given by volunteer members of the charity who have been given training and direction in order to do so.
