Scope. We believe disabled people should have the same opportunities as everyone else. We run services and campaigns with disabled people to make this happen. As a charity with expertise in complex support needs and cerebral palsy, we never set limits on potential.

One of our services is Scope Response. This is a free service that offers information, advice and support to empower disabled people in maximising choice and control over their own lives. Scope Response is entirely supported by voluntary donations.

Meet Louise Purdy, mother of Alex who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was two years old:

“I really don’t know how we would have coped over the last year and a half without Karin (our response worker) and the Scope Response team. Scope not only showed us what support our son Alex and our family were entitled to, but also helped us to understand that Alex is still Alex and has the same rights as any other child.”
