At SkyWay charity we work with young people who are ‘at risk’, aged between 8 and 25 years old and live in Hackney or the neighbouring local boroughs. We are here to help young people achieve their personal goals, realise their potential and contribute positively to their community, through a range of youth-led programmes, projects and services.

We want to:

Support young people so they can develop their communication and social skills, self-confidence and motivation, achieve their personal goals, and the ability to cope with life’s ‘ups and downs’.

Help people to make positive health and lifestyle choices, including increasing participation in sport and positive recreational activities.

Provide opportunities for young people to volunteer and develop transferable employability and citizenship skills, while raising awareness of training and employment opportunities.

Champion the needs of other local young people by encouraging our peers to become leaders and take on areas of responsibility within the community.
