If you are blind or visually impaired, then Somerset Sight can help you. We are a local charity established in 1920. Based in Taunton we cover the whole of Somerset.

We support visually impaired people of all ages, helping them continue to lead a full and independent life.

Loneliness and isolation are huge problems facing those with a visual impairment. Loss of independence and social exclusion often follow a diagnosis of sight loss. To counteract these problems, Somerset Sight arranges social afternoons and a variety of activities to enable visually impaired people to meet others and learn new skills.

If you or someone you know has a visual impairment or if you are a carer for a visually impaired person, the people at Somerset Sight are able to provide help and practical advice.
