St Richards is a Catholic school, welcoming children of all faiths.  We are a boarding and day school, including a Pre-Prep and Nursery, for about 140 boys and girls set in 35 acres of Herefordshire countryside.

We have recently launched an Appeal to enable us to raise funds for the refurbishment of Hirons Hall, our indoor sports hall with which any Old Ricardian will be very familiar.  Primarily, we intend to re-roof and re-clad the Hall and install heating. 

Our second phase is to build changing facilities alongside the Hall - this will have the added benefit of releasing a lot of pressure around the back corridors of the main building.  To improve access to this area and parking in general we will re-model the staff carpark and create a more aesthetically pleasing approach to the school.  Any surplus funds at this stage will be channelled towards the updating and refurbishment of the schools other facilities.
