Walking with the Wounded (WWTW) was established in 2010 to support the employment aspirations and vocational outcomes of our wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women and in doing so assists them in finding new long term careers outside the military, re-integrate into society and provide long-term security for themselves and their families.

We achieve this via a combination of programmes which provide a holistic approach to supporting a career transition from the military into civilian employment. Whilst the primary focus is employment, our programmes also focus on key issues facing vulnerable veterans who have been physically, mentally or socially disadvantaged by their service such as homelessness, veterans in police custody and mental injury.

In conjunction with individual fundraising events, Walking With The Wounded also promotes awareness of the charity, our wounded community and the challenges faced by all those living with a disability by undertaking high profile expeditions with wounded veterans and serving soldiers that are entirely funded by corporate sponsorship.

Our previous expeditions include The North Pole in 2011, Mount Everest in 2012 and The South Pole Allied Challenge in December 2013 and most recently The Walk of Britain in 2015. Corporate sponsorships allow private donations such as yours to go exclusively towards the work we do helping secure long term independence for our injured veterans.

At a time when so many charities are asking for people's generosity, we are hugely grateful for any donations which are made.

Please visit our website www.walkingwiththewounded.org.uk for news on our upcoming events, the people we help and how you can get involved.

Many thanks for your continued support!
