Wicked Weather Watch
Wicked Weather Watch offers a unique insight into climate change, enabling young people to meet and hear directly from explorers and others who have visited the Arctic - one of the most impacted parts of our planet. We want to inspire young people to care about our world and to understand what climate change means for us all.
WWW looks at how climate change is affecting the people and wildlife of the Arctic, the rest of the world including the UK, and what we can all do about it. We look at the latest science and information including data from the historic Polar Ocean Challenge - an attempt to be the first British yacht to circumnavigate the Arctic Ocean anti-clockwise in one summer season - a feat that should not be possible, but is now due to climate change.
Using this up to the minute information we work with teachers and others to create unique resources to learn about climate change and the Arctic in primary schools.
