World Land Trust (WLT) is an international conservation organisation that acts directly to save rainforest and other wilderness habitats. WLT works around the world with local partner organisations to purchase land and create permanent reserve areas. Since its foundation in 1989 World Land Trust has helped to protect over 500,000 acres of the world’s wild places against the pressure of expanding human agriculture and population.
Your support will go directly to the purchase and protection of threatened wildlife habitat, and will benefit species such as the Orang-utan, Indian Elephant and Jaguar. Our partner organisations are based around the world in areas including Ecuador, Kenya, Borneo, Paraguay and Brazil, and are in urgent need of the resources to secure fast disappearing habitats for the future. The funds World Land Trust provides enable them to establish permanent wildlife reserves.
