Christian Aid
Poverty is an outrage against humanity. It robs people of dignity, freedom and hope, of power over their own lives. Christian Aid has a vision - an end to poverty - and we believe that vision can become a reality.

Hey Folks thanks for visiting my page.

Those of you who know me well enough will known by now I'm somewhat prone to take on challenges which test me to my limits - usually after someone has suggested 'your too old for that sort of thing!' Well this challenge I think is probably my biggest to date. Testing me both physically but I most importantly mentally. Cycling Wales in a Day from Caernafon to Chepstow what could be simpler - for starters it's all down hill, right? 190 miles and 4,500m climbing taken on the iconic Llanberis Pass and and, with just 120 miles in my legs my favourite, Gospel Pass!

‘Although I’m not known to be a crusader for particular causes outside my work, I do feel strongly that the causes for which Christian Aid campaigns are desperately important for the lives of so many people around the world who still live in poverty and in circumstances where their self respect and dignity are not valued. I’m, therefore, delighted to try and make some contribution, however small, to supporting Christian Aid’s work and hope that others will support me.’

Come on, together lets try and erradicate poverty. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to Christian Aid and onto those who desperately need it. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
