Sue Ryder
Sue Ryder provides incredible care for people with life-changing illness. Whether it’s bringing comfort to someone’s final days or enabling them to make the most of their life, we are here for them and their loved ones. We do this in our hospices, in our neurological care centres, in the community and in people’s homes across the country. Our work also goes beyond the UK, Sue Ryder also supports the delivery of specialised health and social care in areas of Eastern Europe and Southern Africa. Our hospices include: Manorlands Hospice near Keighley, Wheatfields Hospice in Leeds, St Johns in Bedfordshire, Thorpe Hall in Peterborough, Nettlebed in Henley-on-Thames, Duchess of Kent House in Reading and Leckhamton Court Hospice in Cheltenham.

Barry's does NYC's fundraising page

My page:

Hello everyone

We're really excited to be running the 2013 NYC Marathon in aid of Sue Ryder. We'll be fundraising as a team for a really fantastic cause:

Sue Ryder provides incredible care for people with life-changing illness. 1 in 4 of us are living with a life-changing illness that needs specialist care. That's 18 million people in the UK today. Sue Ryder provides their incredible care in their hospices and neurological care centres. Just £7.80 pays for one hour of care so please give generously.

Shane Collins: Barry's Bootcamp trainer extraordinaire. The very nice Irish guy in charge of whipping the team into shape.

Vicki Jenkins: Mostly found without shoes behind the counter at Barry's Bootcamp London. Also team medic.

Harriet Roche: Originally thought this was a fantastic idea, now complains about the lack of wine whilst training. Fellow Welsh girl to Vicki.

We'll be updating our page as we go with news on our progress so do keep checking back.

Thanks for visiting and wish us luck!

Hattie, Shane & Vicki
