Hi, thanks for visiting our page. Earlier this year Alissa and James' little boy Billy was born asleep on the 14th February - unfortunately Billy suffered from a number of fatal fetal abnormalities which were diagnosed at the 12 week scan.

From the moment that we found out that Billy's condition was fatal, we received fantastic support from the teams at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow and the University College Hospital London. Both hospitals helped us through every stage of our journey and for this reason we decided that we wanted to do something to help them continue to provide the same kind of support we received.

Bike for Billy is a charity cycle ride that will raise money for the Neonatal Unit in Harlow and the Fetal Medicine Unit, University College Hospital London. Every penny we raise will make a difference. If you believe that what we're doing is a worthy cause then please use this link to sponsor us.

On the 14th October six riders will set off from the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow on a 350 mile ride to Carrick on Suir, Co Tipperary with a goal of completing the distance in 5 days.

The Bike for Billy riders:
James Ashworth, Simon Parrish, Mark Reed, James Conway, Maurice Conway & Leo Commins

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
