Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity (formerly Yorkhill Children's Charity)
Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity is the new name for Yorkhill Children's Charity. Every year 160,000 babies, children and young people from across the country are treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services at the hospital to ensure that our young patients and their families receive the best possible care. Your generosity helps us care for Scotland's children - thank you.
The Brain Tumour Charity
The Brain Tumour Charity is the UK's leading and largest dedicated brain tumour charity. We fund scientific and clinical research into brain tumours and offer information and support to those affectd, whilst raising awareness and influencing policy. Our aim is to improve understanding, diagnosis and treatment of brain tumours.
The Sandpiper Trust
The Sandpiper Trust provides emergency medical equipment for doctors, paramedics and nurses in remote parts of Scotland. Immediate care training is provided by Basics Scotland which enables them to deliver lifesaving procedures to accident victims during the Golden Hour. 820 Sandpiper bags are in use
Northsound Cash for Kids
Every year Northsound Cash for Kids strive to raise over £500,000 to make grants to individuals, families, children’s groups, organisations and projects throughout the Northsound transmission area. We believe that all children should life to the full and we aspire to help children and young people reach their individual potential. Our main priority is supporting sick, disabled and disadvantaged children and young people throughout the north east of Scotland. We support children with mental, physical or sensory disabilities, behavioural or psychological disorders, living in poverty or situations of deprivation, or suffering through distress, abuse or neglect. Throughout the year there are many events which generate the vital funds that contrubute to the deserving causes. Some are organised by Northsound Cash for Kids, while many others come from individuals, listeners and organisations who want to help. There’s seldom a week goes by without someone raising money for Northsound Cash for Kids. Together, we can make a difference. Thank you

CNR Ride the North fundraising page

Judy Paterson,

My page:

We are a team of 17 from CNR International: Hilary Taylor, Scott Murdoch, Ross Craig, Vikki Shanks, Byron McKibben, Judy Paterson, Frank Campbell, Chris Tomlinson, Richard Leslie, Graham Cook, Mark Ferguson, Richard Mathieson, Lorraine Boyle, Alison Johnston, John McMillan, Roy Aspden and Chris Cowley.

On the 28th August we will participate in the cycling challenge Ride the North which will take us from Inverness to Stonehaven, 174 miles over 2 days.  Many of us are new to road cycling and we have put in many hours of training to try and prepare ourselves for the hills.

We are raising funds for The BRain Tumour Charity, Yorkhill Childrens Charity, Northsound Cash for Kids and The Sandpiper Trust.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.

We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
