Artemis Charitable Foundation
The Artemis Charitable Foundation sponsors the Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon, an exhilarating test of strength, stamina, and fitness through some of the most spectacular and historic areas of the Scottish Highlands. It involves a 0.8 miles (1.35km) swim across Loch Tay, a 15 mile (24km) run/walk over seven munros, a 7 miles (11km) kayak on Loch Tay, ending with a 34 mile (54km) cycle around the Loch. All proceeds raised by participants go to support the fantastic work undertaken by: Mercy Corps: An international development charity working in over 40 countries worldwide helping people to turn the crises of natural disaster, poverty and conflict into opportunities for progress. Mary's Meals: An international movement to set up school feeding projects in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education. The Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon involves 15+ hours of serious physical grind. We are taking on this challenge in a relay team with three others. The youthful Clare is doing the whole thing - she has no idea what she is in for. Chloe did this crazy event 5 years ago and still has the scars. Thanks to a slipped disc, she shall forgo the munro section although I am sure the swim, kayak and cycle will prove more than challenging enough!

We are raising money for two very worthy charities: Mary's Meals and Mercy Corps.

Mercy Corps is an international development charity working in over 40 countries worldwide helping people to turn the crises of natural disaster, poverty and conflict into opportunities for progress.

Mary's Meals is an international movement to set up school feeding projects in communities where poverty and hunger prevent school children from gaining an education.

We will be extremely grateful for any support for these two causes.
