The Cure Parkinson's Trust
Help us to find a cure for Parkinson’s. The Cure Parkinson’s Trust was founded by people with Parkinson’s, with the sole aim of helping to find a cure for this degenerative neurological condition. Frequently considered as an old person’s disease, Parkinson’s can affect anyone at any time. The youngest person diagnosed is just nine years old, and many in their 20s and 30s are given this devastating diagnosis. Parkinson’s doesn’t kill, it imprisons, removing all control over natural movement, a life sentence for a young person with Parkinson’s. The Cure Parkinson’s Trust wants to reverse the condition. We have already made significant headway. Patient led, we are impatient to wrestle back control over our lives. We are engaging the whole Parkinson’s community, with scientists, with regulators, with industry and with policy makers because we believe Parkinson’s can be cured. No-one is more passionate about this than the people touched by this cruel disease. But we need everyone’s help. Join us, because together we can illuminate the issues and the research being undertaken to beat it and we are close.

WE'RE RUNNING THE LONDON MARATHON 2017!

In memory of a legend we've lost and to continue his legacy of finding a cure for Parkinson's, we're hoping to raise at least £11,000 for The Cure Parkinson's Trust. We completed the London Marathon and our fund raising page remains open.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to The Cure Parkinson's Trust. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

No donation is too small and will be gratefully received by us both, but obviously the more you give will fund more research and bring us nearer to the ultimate goal of finding a cure for Parkinson's.

Thank you.

Our 'Call My Bluff' Wine Tasting event on 4th March was a very successful fund raising event and everyone seems to have enjoyed the evening.

Thank you all for your generous donations to date.

We are very grateful for sponsorship for our Wine Tasting from the following Farnham based organisations:

Candy Twist,  Cote Brasserie, Giggling Squid Thai Restaurant, Guildford Audio Ltd, Loaf Bakery, Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shopie, Waitrose, The Winerack

We are also keen to acknowledge the sponsorship, for our Ceilidh event on 4th February, from David Coward at The Firepod, Tim Henderson from St James's Place Financial Services, Knight Frank plc and Jamie Oliver's restaurant in Victoria.

We did it in 6.43.31 hours.  Great day, excellent running conditions and the support from the spectators was absolutely fantastic.  Thanks to all of you who spurred us on. You were amazing.
