MS Trust
The Multiple Sclerosis Trust works with and for the 100,000 people in the UK with multiple sclerosis. Our vision is to enable people with MS to live their lives to the full. The MS Trust provides information that is tailored to what people want to know; education for health professionals about what people with multiple sclerosis need; research into better management of MS and support for anyone affected by MS.

You may well know by now that I did not manage to get to the start line of this year's marathon due to flu that knocked me out for over 6 weeks. So, lucky me, i get to train and run next year!

I will still be running in memory of my mother, Margot James, who had MS and my father Jim James, her devoted husband. When I was about 10 years old my mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis a disease affecting the central nervous system for which there is still no cure. My parents became passionate about fundraising for research and were involved in starting up a charity called ARMS which was active in promoting and funding research at a time when no other organisations were making research a priority. That charity later became the MS Trust.

The MS Trust continues to be dedicated to making life better for people living with MS as well as supporting health professionals who work with them.

Thank you for all the support and generous donations that will spur me on to run next year!
